Paragliding Tandem
During a tandem paragliding flight, each person is seated comfortably in their own harness which are then attached together, with the passenger in front and the trained paraglider behind. The pilot takes 100% control of the parachute, and you experience the joy of paragliding without committing to a course or having a pilot license.
A standard tandem flight lasts 10 to 15 minutes. If the weather conditions are good enough, we can hang on to extend the flight up to 30 minutes.
Doing a tandem paraglider flight before booking a full solo course can be a valuable stepping stone towards embarking on a full solo paragliding course. A tandem flight allows you to experience paragliding firsthand and get a feel for what it’s like to be in the air. This can help you determine if paragliding is something you genuinely enjoy and want to pursue further.

Flight Checklist
- Go in early morning or late afternoon if you prefer smoother flights. No matter how skilled the pilot is, noon-time trips are always more shaking.
- Avoid looking straight down if you are prone to motion sickness. Try to look to the horizon.
- Be prepared to spend time hanging around take-off areas as most sites are far away and transportation can be limited. Bring a book, bring some food, bring some friends.
- Put a lot of sun screen, similar to other outdoor activities.
- Scream if you want to. Screaming is harmless but panically pulling or pushing things can put both you and the pilot into danger.
- Don’t waste time taking video of the landscape. There are tons of videos like that out there. Take videos with YOU in it

Not that cold! In most commercial flights, a paraglider is roughly 500m higher than the ground floor. So you can expect about 2 – 3 degrees (Celcius) less. For wind chill, a paraglider flies around 28 – 35 km/h (airspeed), so you can expect a similar level with a fast bicycle and a slow motorcycle.
